Bible Text: Mark 8:31-33 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | Jesus’ title Son of Man shows He is altogether different from any other man and so it doesn’t make sense to Peter that Jesus will suffer and die. Jesus rebukes Peter, not wanting to be turned from doing the Father’s will; seemingly a very real temptation to Him. Like a seed that brings forth fruit, without His death there would be no saved people and He would not be exalted in glory.
