This righteousness of God in Christ can be known by faith. “Justified” is a legal word meaning we can be innocent. There is a righteousness that can be ours. We receive it by resting in what Jesus has done. Faith is not a work. We lay down not only our bad deeds but our good deeds too. They are rubbish! We cannot depend on them.
