There is hope in dark days. Zechariah and Elizabeth are described as righteous but had no child. Bad things can happen to God’s people. They were also quiet days as it had been 400 years since God last spoke through a prophet, but they kept on. We may wonder why things have not turned out as we expected but we keep on in the spirit of Zechariah and Elizabeth.
