Bible Text: Luke 1:26-56 | Preacher: Steve Darby | Series: Christmas 2018 | Mary responded with this outburst of praise. It is a great message and should bring joy. Mary speaks of God’s great might in putting down the mighty and exalting those of low degree. Every knee will one day bow to Him. It was a great miracle that the everlasting God became small and weak to live as man. As Mary responds in song she recognises God’s mercy. She did not think herself special but recognised her need for mercy.
