Bible Text: Daniel 3 | Preacher: David Jones | How would we feel if given an ultimatum like Daniel? Daniel and his companions resist the temptations and refuse to bow down to the idol. They have confidence that God is able to save them. In this instance God did miraculously save them but Stephen was not miraculously saved in Acts. God is sovereign and has a purpose for everything He allows. Throughout history we see some who die while others survive. We are not forced to worship idols but the culture is hostile and we cannot compromise on the word and what it teaches. We must always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that lies within us but with love.
