…The Harder They Fall. Peter seemed true to his bravado, following Jesus as far as he could outside His trial. However, he falls and weeps. We remain susceptible to spiritual failure. It didn’t take much for Peter to fall. Like Peter, we don’t like it when we are derided. We need to watch and pray.
