This Psalm was sung at the end of the Passover meal. It’s the song of a man calling out in trouble. It felt like the whole world was against him. There are extra troubles for the Christian, just as Jesus said. We need to know, like the psalmist, that God is with us in our trouble. Jesus will lead His people through the gates of righteousness.
