Bible Text: Mark 9:49-50 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | Christians are to be salt. As sacrifices on the altar would be salted, the Christian must sacrifice their sins and give themselves to Christ. As salt makes food taste better, the Christian should have a positive influence on the world. They should not lose their saltiness. This salt sustains and brings peace. We need to sustain relationships with each other by following Christ who loved us when still sinners.
