Bible Text: Romans 6:20-23 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Romans | Paul reminds the Christians they were one slaves to sin and fruitless. If life is all about experiences, what’s the point of living when those experiences can no longer be had? We were made to know God. When pain far exceeds pleasure, the Christian still has something to live for. Paul reminds them they now slaves of God, set free from sin. Sin no longer commands us and this is the big message of this chapter. We still have temptation but we are set free. We need to remember who we are and stop listening to sin. This leads to eternal life in Christ.
