Paul is saying there should be harmony amongst Christians. United to Christ, we are united to each other, and this should be seen. The world bombards us with its thinking and so we must view it through the lens of the Bible. Haughtiness is the obstacle to humility, and the remedy is the gospel. We are to associate with the lowly, not thinking we are above some people.
