God approached them and conversed with them but there is no conversation with the serpent. There is hope for man and woman but not for the serpent. There is brokenness in humanity but there is hope. The serpent will always be in this position of defeat. An individual will come into the human race to crush the head of the serpent. We know this is Christ.
