Daniel had been overwhelmed by the things revealed to him but is told to go his way until the end. With our minds full of the glory of God, we have to go back to our mundane responsibilities. We do them in a way that brings glory to God. The end must mean the end of Daniel’s life, but he won’t miss out on anything revealed to him; all the Lord’s people have an allotted place in the everlasting kingdom. There is joy unspeakable because of the rest that is coming.
