This world fails to bring about peace. Jesus offers peace and comfort even in troubles. The source of this peace is His death and resurrection. He died as our substitute and we are declared innocent. Having this peace with God brings us the peace OF God. Our troubles will not go away, but God will be with us. We maintain this peace of God by grounding ourselves in His word.
