The emphasis of the first two movements was Jesus taking human nature. He rose bodily as a man, ascended bodily into heaven, and will return as a man (while remaining fully God). He is the firstfruits from the dead, and all His people will be like Him, also rising in glorious resurrection bodies. There will be something different about these bodies; no more pain or hunger. Jesus’ remaining a man is essential for our salvation.
