We must speak the whole counsel of God. If there really is a wrath to come then it is the kindest thing to warn people about it like John did. Knowing this, we point people to Christ, like John did. We can’t rescue people ourselves but seek the help and enabling of the Holy Spirit, as Jon did. We must understand the true cost of discipleship; doing these things may land us in trouble as John was imprisoned.
