Fear and love are in some way opposites in but it is sensible to love and fear God. He knows everything about us and it would be foolish not to fear Him. When we are filled with perfect love there is no room left for fear. There is a day of reckoning when sentence will be declared. Many are relaxed when they should be terrified. Christians know they are guilty but that their guilt has been dealt with once and for all at Calvary.
