Bible Text: Revelation 18:21-19:21 | Preacher: David Harding | Whereas the first occurrence of Jesus being called “the Word” in John 1 deals with His first coming, the last occurrence here deals with His second coming as a mighty king. Chapter 19 opens with joyfulness over the ultimate destruction of Babylon the great, the antithesis of the bride of Christ. Heaven opens for an army to ride out. Upon one white horse is a rider who eclipses all the others, able to judge and war against His enemies. None can challenge Him or withstand His judgement on that day.
