Bible Text: John 6:22-59 | Preacher: Dan Peters | Jesus says four times in this passage that He will  rescue from death at the last day. He is a commissioned rescuer; it is the will of God. He is an accessible rescuer; everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him will be raised up. He is an unrecognisable rescuer; unrecognised by human beings, not because of deficiency in Him but in us, until God enlightens the mind to the beauty and necessity of the rescuer. He is a personal rescuer; we are brought into a relationship with Him.
