Bible Text: Genesis 2:18-25 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Genesis | The Bible is not demeaning to women but gives them an elevated position. There is similarity; male and female are both made in God’s image and God gives them the same mandate. They are in this together and are of equal worth. This is why Adam felt lonely; he couldn’t do this alone. He needed somebody on his own level. There are also differences; they fit together and complement each other. The differences are given so that men and women reflect God. Together they constitute humanity in its wholeness.
