The northern kingdom had gone after Baal. God raised up Elijah, the greatest prophet. We are not all called to be Elijahs but we are called to be faithful to God, like Obadiah who risks his life going to Ahab. Ahab had seduced the people into false religion and false religion abounds today. We are called to be faithful like Elijah, though the result is not certain.
