Hebron – City of Refuge
Bible Text: Joshua 20 | Preacher: James Allan | Our new logo takes the name of Hebron account. God told Joshua to appoint cities of refuge, of which Hebron was one, as places where those guilty of unintentional manslaughter could flee. The person would still have to face trial, but the cities ensured justice was done properly rather than in anger. If found innocent, the manslayer had to stay in the city until the death of the high priest. Jesus Christ is our great high priest who died to set sinners free.
