The arresting party comes with swords and clubs because they fear Jesus. People fear that there is an authority they are accountable to. There is often a violent response to the gospel. The Christian should fear if this is not the case. The gospel should never be advanced in the same way with violence. Jesus offers no resistance to His arrest; this was the fulfillment of prophecy.
