Bible Text: Romans 9:6-13 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Romans | It didn’t seem like God had kept His promise to save Israel but Paul is emphatic that God’s word has not failed. The promises were not to be fulfilled through Ishmael but Isaac. It wasn’t because Jacob did anything good but it was of God who calls. Like Jacob, God does not simply choose His people but produces them. He will bring them to glory because it has always been their destiny.
