Bible Text: Mark 5:1-20 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | Demon possession is mentioned over 50 times in the New Testament and so it is something real. Although the devil was defeated at the cross, it is going too far to say there is no demonic activity today. What we see here is a case of demon possession of the worst kind but the most frightening cases are no match for the power of Christ. If Christ can set the worst free, there is hope for every sinner. We flatter Satan too much when we fear him more than God. Jesus goes back again; this whole journey had been just for this one man.
