The women departed from the tomb on resurrection morning with fear and great joy. The resurrection should fill us with fear. If Jesus remained in the grave there would be no judgement. However, they had great joy; joy trumped fear! The joy of every Christian is knowing they are saved from judgement by the blood of Christ.
