Bible Text: Mark 9:38-42 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | The disciples were jealous of this man doing what they had failed to do. He was not one of their clique but it seems he was a true believer from Jesus’ response. Jesus warns against causing little ones to stumble. We may disagree with their methods but criticizing something as basic as giving a cup of cold water is to criticize something that Christ rewards. We should seek to do much but can be encouraged that He is pleased when we seek to do things, however spoiled.
