Command and Promise to the Little Flock
Bible Text: Luke 12:22-34 | Preacher: John Woolley | Jesus gives a personal address to every member of the church when He calls them a little flock. It is a familial title. He is the Good Shepherd who looks after His flock. He gives a command concerning their anxiety. It’s not just an encouragement but an emphatic command not to fear. Anxiety is a form of atheism. He makes a promise to the little flock that the Father will give them the kingdom. God cannot fail to give what He promises.
