Bible Text: James 1:12-18 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: James | There are two reactions to trials. Some are convinced that their trials are working steadfastness and leading to a crown. However, others do not count them as joy but react negatively. There is a temptation to go our own way and abandon God. God is not responsible for temptation but we are enticed by our own desires. God is remaking us but there is a battle within us. We must say no to the evil desires. The contrast to the crown of life is sin leading to eternal death.
