Paul says don’t be conformed, or in fashion with, the world, but to be transformed. These imperatives are things the Christian must always be doing. It comes by the renewing of our minds which were warped by sin. This comes about by the Holy Spirit but it is something we need to cultivate by immersing ourselves in the word of God.
