Bible Text: James 5:7-11 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: James | Much of the epistle has been negative. James now tells us to do some positive things and gives us three reasons to persevere. Firstly, the Lord’s return is near. There is a certainty to His return but God’s nearness is not our nearness because He is outside of time. This is the day of grace. Secondly, we follow a long line of others. The prophets prophesied although their message was not popular. Thirdly, God loves us and is on our side.
