Bible Text: Ecclesiastes 2:16-26 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Ecclesiastes | Wisdom is better than folly, but the wise and the foolish have the same destiny: death. What’s the point of a wise life then? The vast majority who live vanish into obscurity. However, as the preacher mentions God his tone changes. With God there is enjoyment and a wisdom worth having. When we pursue the things of this life apart from God we will find there is nothing. Our enjoyments are gifts from God and our purpose is to bring Him praise.
