Bible Text: 1 Samuel 3-4:1a | Preacher: James Allan | Series: 1 Samuel | There had been a long period of darkness but now God speaks again and would speak regularly to Samuel. We are privileged to possess, read and hear the word of God. The answer to all of our burdens is here. Samuel had a duty to pass the message on, but it was a difficult message of judgement because Eli’s sons despised the atonement. If one despises the cross they have no hope. Eli told Samuel not to hold anything back and neither should we. God has not revealed all these things for none to come to faith.
