Jesus says the Father gave Him the disciples out of this world. This is a comfort and a challenge to the Christian. We are not to love what the world loves. Does the world see that there is something different about us? There is no perfection until we arrive at glory but we are becoming more holy day by day. The Christian life is a battle as the presence of sin remains, but it is no longer our king.
