Goliath is struck with one stone and falls to the ground. Salvation comes quickly for those who trust in the Lord, and does not rely on what we bring. Goliath brought spear and sword but David’s hope was in the Lord. The moment we trust in Christ, our sin is taken from us. Victory will also come quickly when Christ returns.
