The Psalmist divides mankind into two camps: the righteous and the wicked. The righteous are blessed but not according to this world’s version of happiness; it is by avoiding ungodliness and delighting in the Scriptures. This makes them fruitful and productive. There is a day of judgement coming for which we must be prepared but the wicked are not prepared at all.
