A Comprehensive, Impartial Judgement
Bible Text: Romans 2:6-11 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Romans | Paul makes it clear that the time for hiding behind others will soon end. He is addressing Jews who might think what he has been writing only applies to the gentiles. The basis of God’s judgement is what we have done and the same standard is applied to all. He is no respecter of persons. The world’s assessment of people will not matter. We all have a sense of justice; a conviction that awful crimes should be punished. If we want to avoid the anger of God we must avoid what is self-seeking and do what is good.
