We are a Baptist church of around 60 members meeting in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, in South Wales. We believe the whole Bible to be the inspired, written Word of God. The Bible reveals that all people have sinned and fall short of God’s perfect standard, but that Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty so we can be saved from sin and all its consequences by trusting in Him.
Because the Bible places the greatest emphasis on this Gospel or Good News, we refer to ourselves as Evangelical. Every member of Hebron has experienced the power of this Good News in his or her own life. Knowing the joy of total forgiveness, of eternal life already begun, and of intimate, personal knowledge of the Lord God Almighty, we wish all mankind to experience the same.
