Bible Text: Mark 1:14-20 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | The message Jesus proclaims is the gospel of God. It was new and yet long anticipated. It was not the kind of kingdom people were expecting. It would not have lines on a map but be a spiritual kingdom where God rules in people’s hearts. When we submit to Him He takes up residence in our hearts and gives us all that we need. It demands a response. Simon and Andrew threw away their nets and followed Him, giving up a business that was doing well. They had an urgency, following straight away. There is an urgency to repent now and an urgency to the gospel cause.
