Jesus prays for His disciples who were precious to Him because given to Him by the Father. The Father and Son are equal in their commitment to save people. These are the ones for whom Jesus died. If our faith is in Jesus Christ, He will pray for us. Jesus is glorified in these ones. The Christian faith is about God having all the glory. Can Jesus look at us and say He is glorified in our lives?
