Jesus is about to leave the disciples, but because of this they will have, and we have, direct access to God. Our prayers are heard because of Christ’s worth. There is also great clarity; we have the words of scripture and are taught plainly. Are we availing ourselves of what has been revealed to us? The joy of the Christian life is bound up in prayer.
