Whether Daniel’s visitor is the pre-incarnate Christ or an angel, it is the glory of God that’s being reflected. The sound of his voice is enough for Daniel to pass out. How do we speak about God and address Him? If we are casual, we haven’t grasped who He is. The God we must fear is also the God we must trust, as there is no other life outside of Him.
