Jesus, the Temple and the Coming Son of Man Part 1
Bible Text: Mark 13:1-14 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | This passage is surely about the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. However, from verse 24 onwards it sounds like the Second Coming. The disciples seem to be asking about two different things. They would have associated the destruction of the temple with the end of the world. Jesus is greater than the temple. We don’t need a special building to meet with God but can draw close to Him on a battlefield or in a hospital bed.
