The Joy of Immanuel
Bible Text: Isaiah 8:5-10 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: The Book of Immanuel | Judah would rejoice over the destruction of their enemies. The river would flood Judah also, although it’s not a complete devastation. Isaiah addresses Immanuel. All they will have to offer Him when He comes would be a devastated land. So we only have our devastated lives to offer Him. We may be ashamed but must not fear to go to Him because He is the head of the body. His joy is for sinners to go to Him.
