In line with current advice from Public Health Wales, we will not be suspending our Sunday services or mid-week meeting at the present time.
However, we will be taking the steps outlined below to help prevent the spread of infection. These steps will be monitored and updated as further advice is issued from Public Health Wales.
- Please DO NOT ATTEND CHURCH if you are in a period of self, or mandated, isolation.
- We are asking anyone who is feeling unwell, to stay away until fully recovered.
- If you feel unwell or develop a fever, please stay away from church and call 111 for advice.
- Please follow the advice of Public Health Wales or how to reduce the risk of catching or spreading coronavirus:
- wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
- always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
- try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
- do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
We will review whether to hold our monthly communion service for the morning of Sunday 5th April.
In addition to the above, let’s not forget to:
- Look out for each other and keep in touch. Tell someone if you are feeling unwell and if you need help.
- Use the website. If you are unable to attend a service, catch up on some sermons you might have missed.
- Pray. Pray for each other and that the sufferings of this present time might strengthen hope of glory to come. Pray that those without such hope might know it through faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Although we are continuing with our regular Sunday services and mid-week meeting at the present time, we have decided to suspend our Monday and Wednesday Toddler Group until further notice. We are aware that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild infection, but due to our group being largely dependent on retired volunteers and our congregation having a significant number of older people, we feel this measure may help control the spread of the virus.
