Bible Text: Romans 6:5-7 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Romans | The believer is united to Christ in a spiritual death and resurrection like His which were physical. It is the old man in Adam that has been crucified. This body loses its power because it is crucified with Christ. We may feel sin still dominates us but Paul is telling us to be what we are! We are not to behave as if still under the power and control of sin. Believing what we are in Christ is the starting point to sanctification.
