Bible Text: Mark 7:31-37 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | There are clues in these events as to who Jesus is. The man was deaf and had a speech impediment. This is the first clue as the word used is unusual and would have been used in the Greek translation of Isaiah 35:6. The second clue is Jesus sighing; the sigh of the Creator looking at the world He created and seeing how sin had spoiled it. The third clue is Jesus’ command not to tell anyone. As before, the command is given because people did not yet understand His mission.
