Eat, Drink and be Joyful
This verse follows the passage about keeping the king's command, which might be hard, and the righteous being treated as wicked. It commends us to go through these things with joy. Of course we should mourn that God is not glorified, and for those who are persecuted, but wickedness will not triumph in the end. We can eat our food with joy and look forward to the marriage supper of the lamb.
